elevator man.

I don't know what is up with these French men! I keep meeting creepy people.
Yesterday I had the longest elevator ride of my life, even though it was only for 2 floors. It was me and Mr. Elevator Man. Mr. Elevator Man was more than happy to meet my acquaintance. He told me that he really liked my anglophone accent and my smile. And then he gave me the once over with the creepy kind of smile (Don't worry, mom, I had my mace on me and I know how to punch...). If the French are known for "L'Amour", I must be meeting all the wrong ones!

Ann, you stay away from all people of the opposite, besides, boys have cooties, throw rocks at them. :) Ann, i would have no worries about you, I know firsthand that you can punch good.

Oh, Ann. Why you? You need to stop smiling in public and start scowling. Seriously, be careful. I ditto what flurp-boink said!

Hehe! I have to laugh as I read your blog... With such a beautiful smile as yours, you should not be surprised at the attention. I'm sorry it has been so creepy lately... but, then again, those are only the one's who openly (or brazenly...) express their appreciation. Perhaps it is in some way unfortunate that the nice, lovely French boys that would be worth your while have the decency to only catch glimpses of you when you aren't looking. In the meantime, perhaps some heavy bricks in your purse mind be handy... Otherwise, you must practice your best "don't even think about it" glare.

I concur. Practice a glare. You have such a friendly smile! :) And my anxiety is somewhat quelled by your diligent mace-carrying...

I need to talk to you sometime again! It was great to reconnect on Thursday night.

I think the French are known for love, but perhaps you forgot you're in Quebec so beware!!! People from France would be very insulted by your statement.
